How Invisalign® Works

Instead of braces you wear a set of clear removable aligners for about 1 week each, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next one in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position that Dr. Weiss has prescribed.

You’ll visit Dr. Weiss about every 10 to 12 weeks to monitor your treatment to ensure that it is progressing as planned.

Total treatment time varies, depending on how crooked your teeth are to begin with. In many cases, you can look forward to a new smile within about 12 to 18 months.
